Looking Down on the Fire Area

The forest fire status assessments and rehab planning continued today with a helicopter tour of the burned out area. I took a bunch of photos.
Flying, photography and GPSing all combined into one activity! How much fun was that ?!
Wireless link hardware

They say 50km range with an 18db antenna.
Pretty good specs, and they could be used as a mesh network using a protocol like OLSR.
